| Let
us walk you through our design process.
| Step One: On Site Review The
first step of every MossCreek home is an onsite review of the project. At the
site, we review the opportunities and constraints that the site affords to the
project. We also review the overall project objectives and how each issue such
as wind, sun direction, views, and slope affect them.
|
| Step Two: Sketching of sketch
plans and elevations. Following the Site Review
the next step is to get away with the homeowner to a quiet spot and begin blocking
out the design. Working together, the homeowner and MossCreek begin the process
of taking the project from a dream to a reality. At the end of a long day, we
typically have a complete set.
| Step Three: Refining the Design After
returning back to the office, MossCreek continues working with a homeowner to
further refine the design. New drawings can be e-mailed, faxed, over-nighted,
or posted to a client web page for quick response.
| Step Four: Construction Documents
Once the concept designs are approved, construction documents are prepared
for the project. Drawings are prepared in AutoCAD to assure the highest level
of technical accuracy. When combined with the Log or Timber Frame Provider's and
General Contractor's standard means and methods, the construction documents create
a road map to a successfully completed home.
